Hey everybody, another quote that I really like is...

"In the end we only regret the chances we didn't take." ~Unknown

I like this quote a lot because of how true it is. I'm sure everyone could think of a time they regret not doing something because you "chickened out". I know that my mom always tries to get me to try new things, and to not worry about what others think, and I'm guessing a lot of you guys could relate. That is part of what this quote is trying to say. It's trying to make you try new things, because otherwise you will regret it one day when you start thinking about it. A lot of times we worry too much about what other people think about us, which is one of the things that holds us back from doing some things. So, just remember to take chances, and live your life to the fullest!

Hey everybody, another quote that I really like is...

"Maybe it's not about the happy ending. Maybe it's about the story." ~Unknown

This quote is very true. The moments leading up to the ending of something are what you'll remember most. You don't realize that while it's happening, you are just waiting for that happy ending to come. Your life is just one long blank book that is waiting for you to write the story. In a novel, the best parts are in the middle, sometimes the ending, but usually not. You'll regret waiting for your happy ending when you get older, so enjoy the little moments that lead up to your life's end instead of wishing them away.

Hey everybody, the first quote that I really like is...

"The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday." ~Unknown

I love this quote. I feel like all high school students need to understand this because life isn't a competition. There will always be somebody better than you at sports, or somebody smarter than you. Life is a matter of being proud of yourself and being comfortable with who you are. Questioning your decisions and deciding if they're going to matter years from now will help you in focusing on the important things. Don't get frustrated over things that don't really matter. Everybody is special in their own ways, just try to beat yourself instead of somebody else.

Hey everybody, if I had to choose three words to use that would describe myself, I would say shy, patient, and friendly. I'm pretty much the same person online as I am in person. Online I am probably a little nicer, but I can be way more mean as well. I'm very quiet and try not to cause any arguments, so online I usually don't comment or say much about other people's posts. I can also talk a lot though, especially when I'm around my best friends!

   

This painting is a picture that represents me. Elephants are my by far my favorite animal, and they have been ever since I can remember. Elephants are known as being wise animals. I'm pretty smart for my age, so an elephant is the animal that best fits me. All of the different colors and designs represent a part of me that makes me unique from everyone else. This is a painting that was done by my cousin, Kayse, who is my biggest role model. She is the person that showed me that being different from everyone else is okay. Actually, it is way more than okay. She taught me that being the same as everyone else is boring, and that I need to stand out in my own ways. Kayse taught me so many valuable lessons that helped to make me who I am today. All of these reasons, including many more, are why this picture best represents me.
