Hey everybody! Today I am interviewing my friend, Annamaria Tomovic, author of the blog "Dreaming of the sunset" which is a lifestyle blog.

1. What is your favorite quote and why?

"Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened." because I get sad remembering good times, but I should be happy that they happened.

2.What is the most inspirational book you've read?

Diary of a first lady, I read it with my mom and it was very inspirational.

3. If you could tell the whole world one quote, what would it be and why?

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain- people need to stop worrying and just enjoy the moment.

4. Are there any song lyric quotes you like? If so, which ones?

"You made me insecure, told me I wasn't good enough. But who are you to judge when you're a diamond in the rough? I'm sure you got some things you'd like to change about yourself. But when it comes to me, I wouldn't want to be anybody else." ~Who Says by Selena Gomez

6. Do you enjoy reading and hearing quotes? Why or why not?

Yes, MOST are very inspiring.

7. What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book and why?

Fox in Socks because Foxes are my favorite animals and I have good memories from it as a kid.

8. What are your favorite types of quotes and why? (Love, funny, depressing/sad, inspirational, etc.)

Inspirational quotes because they make me want to do something better with my life.

Hey everybody, today I'm going to create a story for the picture below.

 

Two weeks ago I found out that I have cancer. I'm married and have 3 kids. I have a 7 year old son, a 5 year old son, and a little girl that turns one next week. I was told I only have about a month left to live because the cancer has traveled through my whole body already. The doctors told me it's not even worth trying chemotherapy. I know that I should be grateful every morning that I get to wake up,  but instead I think of it as one day closer until I die. All of the colors I see slowly turn darker. Every time that I hear "dada" from my little girl, I tear up. I don't have enough energy to play outside with my boys like I have been doing since they first started walking. Each night I go to bed earlier than the last, and each morning I sleep later than the morning before. My wife and I barely talk anymore because it just turns into arguing about how I should be spending my last few days. Last night I went for a walk after I gave my kids a hug and kiss goodnight. Our house is right next to a bridge, a bridge that I've thought about jumping off of many times. Hardly any cars drive on it, only about five in an entire day. I sat on the ledge for hours, ignoring the rest of the world. I thought about my life the whole time. I thought about all of my problems. Tears wouldn't stop coming. I questioned my life multiple times in those hours. I would stand, taking a step closer to jumping, but would talk myself into sitting back down. All I had to think about was my kids and instantly I would back away from the ledge. I can't make them think that it is okay to take your own life, but I also can't have them watching me slowly die away each and every day. My whole life was circling back and forth in my head. Do I or don't I? I finally decided. I looked down, took one step closer to the ledge, and jumped. In that short fall down that felt like forever, all of my problems were gone.

Hey everybody! Today I'm going to talk about another quote that I like.

"Maybe I'm scared because you mean more to me than any other person. You are everything I think about, everything I need, everything I want." ~Unknown

This quote I really like because it can relate to me the past few days. Most of us probably do have someone that means so much to us that you nearly forget about everyone else in our lives. Thinking about that is very scary. What is going to happen when/if they leave? You'll be lost. Whether it be a significant other, a sibling, a best friend, or anybody else, you'll be lost if they ever leave your side. We all get too side tracked from knowing how much they mean to us and just enjoy the moments we have with them instead of making sure they stay so we can enjoy many more moments.

Hey everybody, today I wrote my own found poem. It's bits and pieces of a bunch of different quotes that all got put together. It was hard to shorten them all and just use the very best parts. But it was easy once I decided what lines I liked.

Love

Love is everything.

Love recognizes no barriers.

Love is easy to begin, but hard to stop.

Love is better than your dreams.

Love awakens the soul.

Love is an unexplainable feeling.

Love has no remedy but to love more.

Love is like no other thing in the world.

Love gives you strength.

Hey everybody! I know I'm a little late, but I'm going to do a top five post for 2015. I decided to do my five favorite quotes from the album Blurryface by Twenty One Pilots. It will also be my top five favorite songs from the Blurryface album that was released in 2015.

5. "I'm fairly local, I've been around. I've seen the streets you're walking down.." ~Fairly Local

I like this quote because it makes me think of home and what it is going to be like coming home from college.

4. "Don't trust a perfect person and don't trust a song that's flawless" ~Lane Boy

I really like these words because nobody is perfect, so you shouldn't trust a perfect person because they are probably fake.

3.  "Fear might be the death of me, fear leads to anxiety." ~Doubt

I like this quote because fear does lead to anxiety, and could actually be the death of me. It makes me think more and not be so scared about everything.

2. "The songs on the radio are ok,
 but my taste in music is your face." ~Tear in my Heart

I like these lyrics because songs aren't that great(besides these of course), and the sound of some people's voice is so much better.

1. "Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol' days,
 when our momma sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out." ~Stressed Out

This quote definitely deserves first because of how true it is. Many days I wish I could be little again and not have everything to worry about, and I'm sure a lot of you could agree.

Hey everybody! I think we all could think of at least one quote from John Green. This post is going to be all about his quotes, and which book has the best in my opinion. I'm going to be "reviewing" quotes from three of his books: The Fault in our Stars, Paper Towns, and Looking for Alaska.  I like all of these books, even though many people think of them, especially The Fault in our Stars and Paper Towns, as cliche for the love stories in them. I'm going to start by listing some of the more famous quotes from the books.....

The Fault in our Stars:

• She loved mysteries so much, that she became one.
• What a treacherous thing to believe that a person is more than a person.
• It's a shame, don't you think? All the strings inside him broke.
• Everything's uglier up close.
• You have to get lost before you find yourself.
• The rules of capitalization are so unfair to words in the middle.
• I stopped listening to those stories. Because whatever she is doing, wherever she is now, I'm sure it's something special. But hey, that's her story to tell.

• It always shocked me when I realized that I wasn't the only person in the world who thought and felt such strange and awful things.
• At some point, you just pull off the Band-Aid, and it hurts, but then it's over and you're relieved.
• That didn't happen, of course. Things never happened the way I imagined.
• I'm not really up for answering any questions that start with how, when, where, why or how.
• We are greater than the sum of our parts.
• After all this time, it still seems to me like straight and fast is the only way out.
• I go to seek a great perhaps.

Hey everybody! this post is a little different from all of the other ones, but I thought that you might want to know why I made this blog...

There are a few reasons why I decided to create my blog about quotes. I love many quotes, and think it is important to hear motivational/inspirational quotes when you're feeling down. I also think that quotes mean more if they're explained, which is what I try to do.

I visited another blog, which is about positivity and also shared good quotes. I think that he should get an award for optimism because he was really good at finding the good in everything. If you can, you should find time to take a look at his blog: The Positivity Blog

Hey everybody, another quote that I really like is...

"Keep the faith. The most amazing things in life tend to happen right at the moment you’re about to give up hope." ~Unknown

I like this quote a lot because it is very inspirational. It's pretty much saying that you always need to keep your head up because life consists of both ups and downs, so it will get better. Many people, even myself sometimes, give up way too easily. If we all just help each other get through our rough times, somebody will always be there for us when we need the most support. You never know when somebody could need something simple, but nice said to them. Just a simple hello could turn somebody's life back in the right direction.
